the eldest doesn't have school today due to report card day so I probably won't be watching much of anything.

Monday - sketti and rolls
Tuesday - chicken bacon sandwiches onion rings and white peas
Wednesday - meatloaf, mashed taters, and broccoli
Thursday - leftovers
Friday - patty melts, homemade fries, broccoli
Saturday - lemon chicken, rice, and green beans
Sunday - crock pot chicken spaghetti and salad

report card meeting
What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
still workin on that ole' blanket. I don't think I've touched it in two weeks
Homemaking Tips:::
this isn't really a homemaking tip, but if you aren't sleeping (like me) then try melatonin as a sleep aid. I just haven't been able to get to the store yet.

Kevin had lunch with us yesterday and told us a little about Awaken! That is so exciting!!!

@Sherry Bibliomane They are just a small greenish pea (ironically not white). you can't find them in a regular grocery store, but you might be able to find them at a farmers market. I get them from my Nana who gets them from my uncle. she shells them and par cooks them then freezes them. When we have them for dinner I just boil them for about an hour, add salt and some butter to taste and they are delicious. They kinda have the flavor of a butter or lima bean, but they are WAAAY better :) hope that helps!

@Sandra Thanks, Sandra! I'm trying really hard to stick to the whole "meal planning/money saving" phenomena that has exploded on Pinterest. I'm planning on doing a post about it soon because it's been working for me for about a month now! I always love reading your Happy Homemaker Posts! especially the fact that you make SOOO many crocheted items :)
